Ajuvi grew up speaking a language known only to few, taught an oral history few have ever heard, beside a spring of water where his ancestor once sacrificed his adopted daughter in a small village near the town of Maliana. He has painted murals in the streets of Same and Emera and taught illustration in Baro Pite and Manleuana. His art has taken him across Timor, and the styles in which he has worked have been many. Ajuvi has been a resident in Arte Moris since 2008, practicing fine arts. Over the last three years he has simultaneously taken a degree in Architecture at the Universidade Da Paz in Dili.
